Welcome to my studio - A happy space to share my art…

…a place where creativity blossoms and colors and lines dance! I’m so glad you’re here. This little studio is more than just a workspace; it’s a sanctuary where inspiration happens. Every brush stroke and pencil line tells a story, interprets what I see and feel. Every piece holds a piece of my heart and soul. As I walk my path in life, through ups and downs, my journey has been grounded in art and inspired by nature. I believe art has the power to heal, inspire, empower and to convey a sense of love, empathy understanding and hope. Through sharing my art, I hope to extend these qualities of life to you.

A little about me

I was born, raised and graduated high school in Northern Maine. I attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Maine much later in life and graduated in 2011, as a non-traditional student. Life has taken me on a wildly winding path and slowly, as life allowed I have practiced & experimented with different art forms and shown art in local community art walks.

Inspired by the beauty and quiet strength of nature, my journey as an artist has been one of continuous learning and exploration as I strive to capture the essence of what moves me.

My work often reflects themes of the wonders and joys of nature and emotions invoked by being immersed in the environment. I love experimenting with different mediums and techniques, allowing my work to evolve organically. From the initial blank canvas or paper to the final strokes and signature, I pour my heart and soul into each creation.

One goal of my art is to bring nature inside, no matter the season. One of the things I love about painting nature is the ability to preserve a blossom or a leaf or an ever changing landscape that makes me feel joy. I can revisit that object, scene or feeling anytime. I can metaphorically be in my garden in the middle of winter when everything is dormant and freezing temperatures stretch for months. I bring that joy to my viewers and collectors as well. You can imagine a season of warmth and hope.

Art is deeply woven into my soul. I hope my art resonates with you and that it takes you on your own journey to find peace, joy and a connectedness to the earth we live in.
